My name is Kara, I am an award-winning screenwriter, ghostwriter, and interactive game scriptwriter, and I would love nothing more than to help breathe life into your story. 

Ever since I learned to read, I’ve loved to write. When I was about 6 years old, my first books were printed from my mother’s home computer and crudely stapled together, with crayon drawings decorating each page.

I got my start writing professionally after moving to Chicago at age 19 to study film. Through a series of happy accidents, I wound up writing in the weird and wonderful genre of romance, primarily paranormal romance, romantic comedy, and dark romance. I wrote and ghostwrote romance novels, web novels, and dating games for a variety of clients and companies, including Crazy Maple Studios, ReelShorts, Above Story Limited, Zoomob Limited, GoodNovel, and IGG Games.

Since then, I have continued to write romance, as well as horror, horror/comedy, dark comedy, adult animation, and children’s media, with companies like Soul Sentinel Productions, LiveColors, London Rowe Media, and Balloon Labs.
